Attire
As you join us to celebrate the most important event in our lives, we ask you to honor the beauty of the Atlantic setting and the sincerity of the ceremony.
We want you to feel comfortable and confident while embracing the weekend’s elegance.
Your attire will help make the moment memorable, contributing to an unforgettable experience for everyone.
Children and babies are warmly welcome, and we ask that their outfits reflect the dress code where appropriate, adapting to the respective color palette.
We have thoughtfully chosen these 3 dress codes to balance style and comfort. While we don’t want you to feel pressured, we kindly ask that you respect the formality of the occasion.
After all, this weekend’s photos will become memories that we, especially as bride and groom, cherish forever.
FRIDAY
Welcome Dinner – “Atlantic Cocktail”
As we gather for an elegant evening by the pool, we ask you to embrace our “Atlantic Cocktail” theme.
Imagine the colors and sophistication of the ocean we find ourselves next to and arrive in attire that reflects the evening’s elegant and sophisticated tone.
Please use the details below as inspiration.
FOR WOMEN
Cocktail dresses, jumpsuits, or chic separates in oceanic tones are perfect for this evening.
Think of flowing fabrics like chiffon, silk, or satin in shades of deep navy, turquoise, seafoam green, teal, aquamarine, azure, cobalt blue, or light sapphire.
Choose light, breezy fabrics that evoke the relaxed vibe of the setting, but feel free to opt for velvet as a stunning option adding texture and elegance.
FOR MEN
Suits in shades of dark blue, grey, or teal are a must, paired with a crisp white or pastel shirt.
Light fabrics like linen or cotton are ideal for staying comfortable in the summer breeze. We don't require a tie, encouraging a relaxed yet elegant look.
Dress shoes, such as oxfords or loafers, are recommended to complete your cocktail attire.
KINDLY AVOID
White, Cream or Beige. LEAVE THESE SHADES FOR THE BRIDE.
Wearing white, cream, pearl, eggshell, off-white, champagne, alabaster, bone, ecru, parchment, nude, ivory, blush, or sand is simply not an option.
Casual Fabrics and Styles
Denim, casual sneakers, (flat) sandals, any kind of beachwear or anything remotely casual does not belong here.
Bold Patterns or Loud Colors
Kindly stay away from overly bold prints, neon’s, or distracting patterns.
Anything Too Flashy or Overdone
Glitter, sequins, or overly revealing outfits will stand out for all the wrong reasons.
SATURDAY
Wedding Ceremony, Receptions & Dinner – “Black Tie”
This is the most formal event of the weekend, and we expect all guests to adhere strictly to the Black Tie dress code.
The afternoon and evening will be a timeless celebration, and your attire should reflect that.
Please use the details below as inspiration.
FOR WOMEN
Long gowns are required. We encourage rich, elegant fabrics such as silk, crepe, or chiffon, in any color except for white, ivory,
cream, eggshell, or red.
Solid colors are preferred over patterns.
Minimal embellishments are preferred over sequins or loud, glittery details.
After the formal dinner, feel free to switch to a shorter cocktail or party dress if you wish, but maintain the
elegance.
FOR MEN
A black tuxedo is required - no exceptions. Black bow ties are mandatory, and shoes must be black, formal and polished. Stick to classic black.
Lightweight wool or satin lapels add
the right touch of luxury.
STRICTLY OFF-LIMITS
Suits or Blazers
This is a Black Tie event, so standard suits in black will not be appropriate for the formality of the evening. Same goes for colored tuxedos, casual ties, or non-dress shoes.
White, Cream or Beige. LEAVE THESE SHADES FOR THE BRIDE.
Wearing white, cream, pearl, eggshell, off-white, champagne, alabaster, bone, ecru, parchment, nude, ivory, blush, or sand is simply not an option.
Red
No crimson, scarlet, burgundy, cherry, or ruby either.
Sequins or Glitter
Denim or Casual Clothing
Absolutely not. No jeans, no casual pants, and no casual shoes. If you question whether something is formal enough, it probably isn’t.
Loud Patterns or Statement Pieces
This is an elegant, formal affair. Oversized accessories, bold prints, or anything that screams for attention is inappropriate.
SUNDAY
Farewell Breakfast – “Resort Casual”
As we send you off with our warmest goodbyes, we want you to feel relaxed yet polished during our Farewell Breakfast.
Please use the details below as inspiration.
